Unfortunately, SB 1094, sponsored by Senator Monique Limon, representing Senate District 19 and co-authored by Assemblymember Gail Pellerin did not move forward for the Governor’s signature.  It was approved by the Senate Education and Appropriations Committees and the Assembly Education Committee but did not make it past Assembly Appropriations. We plan to have the bill re-introduced in the next legislative cycle.  Stay tuned!!
